I have been tutoring math for as long as I can remember and I love it. I used to help my fellow math students in high school and would often hear them say, “Wow, you can explain this so well, you should be teaching the class.” I have tutored in math labs and privately during my college career which includes a degree in Mathematics from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a MS in Statistics from UCSB.

I worked in industry for a few years, but my love of teaching drew me back to the classroom. I taught at SBCC for 20 years. During that time, I supervised the Math Lab at SBCC as well as taught the Tutor Training Seminar to teach tutors best tutoring techniques. I have also tutored privately during my SBCC years as well as taught homeschooling classes in math.
